IPL 2026 GT vs RR Playing 11: Shubman Gill-led Gujarat Titans will square off against Riyan Parag-led Rajasthan Royals in the qualifier 02 of the IPL 2026 on May 29 at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, Mullanpur.

Both sides had an impressive season and are aiming for a win in the upcoming match to make it to the finals.

Rajasthan Royals won the toss and opted to bat. Speaking at the toss, RR captain Riyan Parag said, “We are going to bat first. Pretty much the same wicket. I just feel at the back end, it slows down a bit. We have the bowlers to exploit it.

We have had those games for the last three games. Everyone wants the win. The messaging is simple. We have to play good cricket for 40 overs. Whichever team plays good cricket, wins.

GT captain Shubman Gill said, “We would have batted first. 40 overs of play has already happened. I don’t think it would change much. Unfortunately, I don’t think the referee heard the call from Riyan.

There is everything to play for. It is a ‘now or never’ situation. One change: Sai (Kishore) comes back.”
