Delhi: Gujarat Titans team has reached the finals of IPL 2026, where they will now face Royal Challengers Bangalore. The Gujarat team, captained by Shubman Gill, easily defeated Rajasthan Royals by 7 wickets in the Qualifier 2 match played in New Chandigarh on Friday, 29 May. RR had set a big target of 215 runs for GT to win, which they achieved at the loss of 3 wickets with 8 balls remaining.
Apart from captain Shubman Gill, Sai Sudarshan played an important role in this victory of Gujarat. Gill scored a century, while Sudarshan played a brilliant inning of 58 runs in 32 balls. However, in this match too, Sudarshan returned to the pavilion after getting out after being hit wicket. It is very strange for any batsman to be out hit wicket in two consecutive matches. Due to getting out like this, questions are being raised on Sudarshan’s technique as well. Talking about this, Sudarshan said that he will try something new regarding the grip of the shoe to solve this problem as soon as possible.
