He scored 449 runs for Derbyshire in T20 Blast 2025 at a strike rate of 216.90. Whereas South Africa’s explosive batsman Heinrich Klaasen scored 447 runs at a strike rate of 207.90 for Durban Super Giants in SA20 2024. However, both these players also seem far behind Vaibhav’s record.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is also the highest runner-up in IPL history

If we talk only about IPL, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has set a new record here also. Earlier, Andre Russell had scored 510 runs for Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2019 at a strike rate of 204.81.

Whereas Abhishek Sharma scored 563 runs in IPL 2026 at a strike rate of 204.72. But Vaibhav left both these records far behind by scoring 776 runs at a strike rate of 237.30.
