Delhi: Former Indian team wicketkeeper batsman KS Bharat has moved to Dubai after retiring from international cricket. He is now looking for new opportunities to cricket in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
According to a report, 32-year-old KS Bharat is currently in Dubai and is working on cricket opportunities there.
An official associated with Emirates Cricket said that like players from many other countries, Bharat is also exploring the possibilities of his future in UAE.It is being told that KS Bharat has been included in Team Stallions in a four-team tournament organized by the Emirates Cricket Board. Through this tournament he will become a part of the UAE cricket system.
According to reports, KS Bharat is also eyeing UAE’s big T20 league International League T20 (ILT20). It is believed that he is looking for opportunities to play in this league.
KS Bharat had announced his retirement from international cricket on 4 June 2026. He played seven Test matches for India between February 2023 and February 2024. Apart from this, he has also been a part of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Delhi Capitals (DC) in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
It is noteworthy that KS Bharat going to UAE to explore new cricket opportunities can be considered a wise step for his career. After retirement from international cricket, many players are furthering their career by participating in the leagues of different countries.
