Indian opener Abhishek Sharma has joined a small list of Indians to hit 100 T20I sixes, reaching the milestone in the first T20I against England at Chester-le-Street on Wednesday.
The opener reached the milestone 100th six in the fourth over against Saqib Mahmood, becoming only the fifth Indian Men’s player to reach this milestone.
The only other Indians to hit than 100 T20I sixes are Rohit Sharma (205), Suryakumar Yadav (179), Hardik Pandya (126), and Virat Kohli (124). The 25-year-old has also become the first left-handed batsman to reach this milestone.
