Delhi: In the first T20 International match played between India and England at the Riverside Ground in Chester-le-Street, young opener Abhishek Sharma caught everyone’s attention with his explosive batting. In this match, Abhishek Sharma created history by completing his half-century in just 20 balls. This is the fastest half-century scored by an Indian batsman in T20 International cricket on English soil. Earlier this achievement was recorded in the name of KL Rahul, who had completed half-century in 27 balls in Manchester in the year 2018. With this powerful inning, Abhishek left behind KL Rahul’s eight-year-old record and registered a new record in his name.
