England reached the final of FIFA World Cup-2026 by defeating Norway 2-1

New Delhi. England have made it to the semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup 2026 thanks to two excellent goals from Jude Bellingham. In a thrilling quarterfinal match played at Miami Stadium in Florida, England entered the last four by defeating Norway 2-1 in extra time.

The match could not be decided within the stipulated 90 minutes. By the end of regular time, both the teams were tied at 1-1. After this, Bellingham scored the winning goal in extra time to give England a memorable victory.

Norway scored the first goal of the match in the 36th minute. Andreas Schjelderup scored a goal to give the team a 1-0 lead. However, England did not wait long and a few minutes later Jude Bellingham scored the equaliser.

In the second half, both the teams created many chances, but neither team could score a goal. As a result the match reached extra time. At the beginning of extra time, Jude Bellingham scored his second and decisive goal of the match in the 93rd minute. After this goal, England maintained the lead and eventually won the match 2-1.

After the match, England head coach Thomas Tuchel said that the result was fantastic. We have reached the last four teams of the tournament, which is a big achievement for us. However, we also made some mistakes. Our pace was not that good and there was a lack of continuity in the game. Luck was with us today.
