Indications of major changes in Gautam Gambhir’s support staff

The Indian team’s fielding and bowling have been extremely disappointing on recent white-ball tours. According to the report, the contracts of assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate and fielding coach T Dilip have expired. Ryan ten Doeschate has expressed his desire to step down from the post, citing personal reasons and a busy travel schedule. There is also doubt over T Dilip’s contract extension due to poor fielding. However, head coach Gautam Gambhir’s contract is till the 2027 ODI World Cup, so there is no threat to his position at the moment.
