Indian young batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi has caught everyone’s attention with his brilliant performance in the T20 series against Zimbabwe. Thanks to Vaibhav’s stormy innings of 81 runs, India defeated Zimbabwe by 35 runs in the third and last T20 match and captured the series 3-0.

Let us tell you that the Indian team, captained by Shreyas Iyer, won the first match of the series by 7 wickets and the second match by 90 runs. In the third match also, India performed brilliantly and made a clean sweep.

Vaibhav became the biggest star of the series

15 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who was the hero of India’s victory, was chosen as the player of the match. Apart from this, he also received the Player of the Series award for his excellent performance in the entire series.

Vaibhav scored 151 runs in three innings of three matches at an average of 50.33 and strike rate of 196.10. He was the highest run scorer in the series. After the end of the same series, Vaibhav revealed his game plan.

He told that his aim was always to give a good start to the team and make big innings whenever he got a chance.

Vaibhav told the secret of success

Vaibhav said that the team’s preparation was very good in the first two-three days after reaching Harare. He told that he has played the Under-19 World Cup on this ground before, so he likes playing here. He said that the captain, coach and all the players of the team supported him a lot, due to which he is very happy.

Vaibhav said, “My game is the same as I play in T20 cricket. I was trying to get a good start for the team. If I get a good start, my aim is to make the innings big.”

Trying to repeat the practice in the match

Regarding the conditions in Harare, Vaibhav said that he plays only those shots which he practises. Whatever he does in the nets, he tries to repeat it in the match.

On being named man of the series in his first full T20 series for India, Vaibhav said that it is a dream come true moment for him.

He said that he is very happy to receive the first Man of the Match and Man of the Series awards.
