It is the final day of the warm up game for the Indian side with the Test match series just to begin under a week. Visiting side ended the day at 357 runs as Devdutt Padikkal scored a brilliant 142 not out. This has more or less sealed his spot at number three in the batting order with Sai Sudharsan out of the series. 

Ravindra Jadeja too batted well at number four to score 63 and was one of the key figures during the day. KL Rahul was looking decent before he was out for 40 as he played some attractive shots and looked aggressive. 

Concerns will be raised on the form of Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rishabh Pant, and Dhruv Jurel who failed to make any impact with the bat. Jaiswal was out for a duck, while Pant and Jurel were out for two and one each. 

What can we look forward to on day three?

It is likely the Indians will bowl again with the focus being on Auqib Nabi who will be keen to get going. The Jammu and Kashmir pacer didn’t get a chance to show his wares on the opening day and will be itching to take the new ball and make a claim for a spot in the playing XI.
