Indian spinner Manav Suthar powered Warwickshire to a convincing win against Hampshire with a match-haul of seven wickets in the County Championship.
Suthar claimed four wickets in the second innings as Warwickshire coasted to an innings win on Friday.
Leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal added two more wickets for Northamptonshire against Durham. In the same game, Mayank Agarwal emerged as the second top-scorer for Durham with a 48.
These three were among the seven Indians who were in action for county sides across the first and second divisions of the County Championship on Friday.
Left-arm spinner R Sai Kishore claimed two wickets for Gloucestershire, after scoring a 39-ball 20 against Derbyshire.
Elsewhere, Surrey, with India’s Auqib Nabi and Rahul Chahar in its fold, claimed a thrilling one-wicket win against Kuldeep Yadav’s Yorkshire. The Indian wrist spinner didn’t get to bowl in both innings.
