Women’s Asia Cup 2026 BAN-W vs UAE-W Playing 11: Nigar Sultana-led Bangladesh will square off against Esha Oza-led United Arab Emirates in the 12th match of the Women’s Asia Cup 2026, played at Dubai International Stadium, Dubai.

Both Bangladesh and the United Arab Emirates have one victory each in two games they played in the group stage games they have played so far. With Sri Lanka Women having qualified for the semi-finals, the winner of this clash will be the fourth semi-finalist of the tournament.

Currently, Bangladesh holds an advantage with a superior run rate in Group B of the Women’s Asia Cup 2026 Points Table.

United Arab Emirates women won the toss and opted to bowl. Speaking at the toss, Esha Oza said, “We would like to have a bowl first. We want to know what score we are chasing.

“I think we have a good bowling line-up; we would like to restrict them under a run-a-ball. We would like to restrict them under 120. But we’ll assess once we reach half-time,” added Oza.

“We have prepared well. We have had a good game and a bad game. We have had the time to reflect too. We know what we need to work on. We have done that when we went out to train. Hopefully, we will put on a good show,” further said Esha Oza.

Speaking on the changes, Esha Oza said, “We have one change. Indhuja (Nandakumar) comes in for Vaishnave (Mahesh).”

On the other hand, Nigar Sultana said, “I think we really wanted to bat first in this game because it’s a very important game for us, and we really wanted to give our 100% as a batting unit. In this game, we should put some score on the board because our bowlers have been doing really well.”

“I think above 135 runs will be a very good score here. Definitely, because we have seen so many matches and we have played two games here,” added Sultana.

Speaking on today’s Bangladesh cricket team playing 11, Sultana said, “We have 2 changes. Rabeya Khan and Sharmin Akhter Supta come in.”
