Chris Green put on a show during Barbados Tridents’ victory against the Patriots in the CPL 2026 clash played in Barbados.

He came up with a brilliant four-wicket haul in his spell as the side bagged their fourth victory of the season. With this win, Barbados Tridents moved into fourth spot in the CPL 2026 points table.

Chris Green picked up the wicket of Johnson Charles for a duck, while Daniel Sams bagged the wicket of Kyle Mayers for a duck.

With the dismissal of Andre Fletcher for 4 runs, Patriots lost three wickets for 6 runs. With Alick Athanaze and Jason Holder at the crease, the Patriots scored 21 runs in the powerplay.

Despite the duo showing some resistance, scoring 16 and 24 runs respectively, they got dismissed by Motie and Green.

However, Hasaranga was the highest run scorer for the side during the clash, scoring 45 runs off 25 deliveries.

However, the lower order got dismissed cheaply as the side got bowled out for 118 runs in their 20-over innings.

Chris Green bagged four wickets while Daniel Sams and Gudakesh Motie bagged two wickets each.

Chasing the 119-run target, Brandon King and Zachary Carter opened the innings, with the former going back for a duck.

Jason Holder bagged his second wicket, dismissing Clarke for 4 runs. He bagged his third wicket by dismissing Carter for 13 runs.

Holder ripped up the entire top order in the powerplay. However, a solid stance from Quinton de Kock has led the side towards victory.

However, Sadrack, Sherfane and Chris Green did make contributions with the bat before being sent back to the dugout after losing their wickets.

Quinton de Kock added 44* runs as the side completed the chase in the 18th over.

Speaking at the post-match presentation, Green said, “I think the consistent factor in the three home games has been our bowling. Following, really proud of our efforts. It’s been different bowlers stepping up at crucial times, and I think as a whole collective group we’ve bonded really nicely.”
