Marnus Labuschagne, once the shining star of the Australian Test team, finds himself grappling with a challenging phase of form recently.

However, his teammate Mitchell Marsh has extended a reassuring pat on the back, empathizing with the no.3 batter's struggles.

Marsh drew parallels from his own experiences in the early days of his career and expressed confidence in Labuschagne's ability to bounce back strongly.

Since his breakthrough in 2019, Labuschagne has been a vital asset for the Australian Test squad. However, his recent struggles have been evident, with only one century and six half-centuries in his last 17 Tests.

His recent form has been even worse, with mere 22 runs in his last six innings, crossing the double-digit mark only once. The 29-year-old's alarming dip in form has raised concerns.

Addressing Labuschagne's lean patch, Mitchell Marsh extended a hand of support, drawing from his own experiences.

"I said to him, Welcome to my first 35 Tests mate, that was me. He's been an incredible player for us, and he will be for a long time to come. I think the good thing about our team is that we've always found a way to keep winning," Marsh said on SEN WA Breakfast show.
